The Master in Ecology and Environmental Management is a 2-year Master of Science program (120 ECTS).

The first year is dedicated to a set of mandatory and optional curricular units (60 ECTS). The curricular units of the program can run either in modules or over the semester. When running in modules, the units of 6 ECTS last at most 3 weeks and the units of 3 ECTS last at most 1.5 weeks.

In the second year, students carry out a mandatory curriculur unit (ECTS) and a Dissertation or Internship Report (57 ECTS), at FCUL or in another institution, in co-supervision regime.

At the end of the second year the final work is subject to public appreciation and discussion by a jury.
